Right at Home

One place we miss terribly from CT is Eisenhower Park. We have ventured to different parks over the last month and have found great things about all of the local options.
Today, however we felt like we were right at home with the same rustic adventures we would have at Eisenhower Park.
As we were discovering new territory and fabulous natural surprises I realized this is probably our favorite family activity- hiking!
I love to watch our children try new things, discover new parts of the world, watch Dad do amazing tricks and see mom try and make everyone else look so good! Best of all- we all get along so well.

Ma and Pa Geese with 21 goslings!!!!

Love the pics of the kids together, and I TOTALLY wish we could go to this park with you. It looks so fun and BEAUTIFUL!! We will have to do some extra fun park-ing/hiking when you are in town to make up for lost time!!!

What a beautiful park! The kids are getting so big. I think the picture of the kids sitting on the rocks with the water flowing would be a perfect one for the 2009 Christmas card!

I bet the kids loved seeing all those goslings. How cute! We really haven't explored Eisenhower park. We need to do that. The girls would love it. Great pictures!

beautiful discovery is my pick for the Christmas card, but you can't see the kids as well. It's just such a beautiful picture. I want to get an enlargement of that.
will we have time to go there during the week I'm there? I'd love to see it and mark it on my map.
