Water Play
Ryan and Cara set up shop in the bathroom today. They were busy squirting sudsy water to and from cups with medicine droppers. It was great fun!!

Our First Snow Day of the Year!!
Shawn wore his PJs inside out, put a spoon under his pillow, and danced around his bed to "guarantee" snow today. It worked:)
We had a little snow and frezzing rain today. They cancelled school. Cara was crying because they were cancelling her Valentine's Day party. She was fine once she realized they would just do it next time. We went outside to play for minute. It was cold and really hard snow. We couldn't play. Oh well, at least we got a picture.
Uhh oh, Ryan's being too quite!
On Sunday I noticed I hadn't seen Ryan for a few minutes and didn't hear him either. That usually spells mess or trouble. However, this time he was so quietly "reading" a Pop-up book in his "Pider man" costume. (As you can tell from the blog he wears this often.)
I was so proud I had to take a picture.
*The next day I found several of the tabs for the pop up book scattered in the room. OOPs I guess he was being mischievous!
NYC
On Feb 3 we met some SUU Alumni friends for dinner at Time Square. It was REALLY cold. Their son is Shawn's age and they have become good friends.
Dinosaur
Ryan loved watching the Jurassic Park Dinosaur. He was SO realistic! He just didn't want to be close to him!
