Spring Break with the Walshes

The kids acting as Wilkey Transportation Drivers to wait for our Ohio neighbors to arrive at the airport!

Cara was an amazingly good sport about being the only girl.  She was the star of the week!

 The boys
The Tabernacle choir was great!

A Conference Center  Tour provided a mirror picture of the whole gang!

 Hoover Dam
 Kolob Canyon
Cracked rock.  Nate climbed up a hill to get a good shot of us.  What entertainment the ants in his pants provided!
 Grand Canyon, South Rim!!!
A week at the Wilkey house is not complete without some cup stacking.  Here is the wall keeping the Dads in the basement!

Middle School Concert

So fun to have Grandparents at Shawn's performance.  Grandpa rescheduled a meeting twice (I mixed up when the concert was)!
We rent a Bass from the school for $60/year!!!  The one we have at home is a fantastic instrument and he wanted to take it to the performance.  The family favorite of the night was the orchestra's performance of "Viva La Vida" from Coldplay.  Shawn plays this song on the piano multiple times everyday.  Who can get sick of a 13 year old playing the piano, whatever song?  We love it!

Cousins

We had a great weekend with our Boise cousins!
Garrett's birthday party took us bowling!
All the kids love bowling.  We really only go when these kiddos are in town, so it is a family tradition for us.
Lillian made sure Grandma and Aunt Steph were well taken care of!
Cara got to feed baby Lilly and talked about it all night and the next day until she could see her again!
Jen and Lilypad in her blessing dress
The main event of the weekend was Lillian's blessing.  What a joyous time! We went to Grandma and Grandpa's ward to have the blessing.  They are some of the youngest members of their ward. The members there were so welcoming and loved having the little ones in their sacrament meeting.  Grandpa was recently called into the bishopric and it happened to be his first time conducting in that ward. Aren't we such the supportive family to be there for him on his first turn! It is such a special situation to have a chance to hear grandparents, aunts and uncles share their beliefs and love for each other in a testimony meeting.
