USS Nautilus

Our family outing started with heading to the Submarine base in Groton. It was fun. The kids liked the play driving station. Ryan did not want to be pictured throughout the day, so Nate had to sneak shots of him.

Girls day skating

Cara chose skating for her activity this week. She was so brave and good. She started out with a helper and then wanted to ditch it. After about 15-20 minutes she was trying herself. It was really fun! We'll have to look into Ice Skating lessons!

Aunt Alison Cookies

Aunt Alison came and brought sugar cookies just like Grandma used to make. Then we decorated and ATE them. It was soooo fun.

We wish you all a Merry Christmas. Nate gave me a new camera for my Birthday, so now I can take photos and post them more easily.

Ryan had fun with every present. Even little ones were so exciting to him.

20 questions

Shawn had a fun Christmas. Here he is, wearing a new Guardians of Gahoole pendant and answering "20 questions" to try and trick his game.

These are the kinds of faces we saw all morning. Cara woke up and came straight into our room saying, half awake, "Mom, I know what today is....Jesus' birthday! I love him so much. ....but he doesn't do very much for me becasue I can do pretty much everything for myself."

Grandma and Grandpa Allen gifts

We always open Grandma and pa Allen's gifts on Christmas Eve. The PJs all fit perfect. The excitement was so high when they got ornaments from ALASKA!! That is Shawn's dream vacation spot! Thanks so much, Mom and Dad!

Attempted Natvity

We had fun Christmas Eve with some friends. The Brinkerhoffs brought Tamales and we all had a great time.
